War is at its most brutal stage and you are a Confederate General.
If you would be asked to surrender, would you? Would you surrender
to save the lives of your soldiers or would you continue to fight
for what you believe in? You will share your thoughts in a letter
you write to a family member or friend.
Some questions to ask yourself as you write your letter are as follows. Why are you fighting for the South? What are your views on slavery? What kind of warfare do you and your army use? Describe one of your victorious battles. Do you have any regrets with your orders for battle, etc?
|You will need to use lots of adjectives. By reading your letter, family and friends should be able to understand the hardships you encounter as a Confederate General.|
