This lesson was developed as part of the Warrensburg, Missouri School District's WebQuest Academy project, a State funded Competitive Technology Grant.

Decomposers or Destroyers is a 3rd Grade webquest project designed to help students gain knowledge of the role that every animal plays in the "Circle of Life."

The project's performance task assesses a student's ability to:

1. Actively participate in the learning process.

2. Acquire knowledge and skills necessary to gather, analyze, and apply ideas utilizing technological tools in a variety of formats.

3. Creatively display aquired information.

4. Communicate within and beyond the classroom.
