The Trail of Tears was a march of 24,594 Cherokee Indainsthat were
BOOTED out of Georgia. The Cherokee nation were forced by armed
gardes to move Westwerdin 1838. Many Cherokee people escaped
to the Smokey Moutains. Thousands of the Cherokee Indains died on
the march because of hardships or sicknesses.
