One day Joe Snakeman got upset, because he couldn't catch prey very well. Then the next day Zeus was furious and asked someone to kill the humans that were burning down his corn in the fields. Joe decided to use his animal gifts and kill the humans and took the offer.

So Joe went to the field and hid. When he saw the human, he snuck up behind him and bit him with his deadly fangs. The human fell instantly, but there were two more guys around. So Joe threw a rock at one of the guys and knocked him out. The other guy turned and tried to find him.

He bit that guy when he went by. So then he went and killed the one knocked out. He also found some water and put the fire out with it. He went to Zeus and Zeus said, "I will grant you any wish you want."

So Joe said, "I want my arms and legs to be taken off and my moving ability to be slithering."

Zeus said, "All right." He was then changed into the way he wanted to be.

He was so happy that he could finally kill prey. Zeus was so happy not to have humans destroying his corn in the fields. From then on everyone called Joe and his huge family

"SNAKE", and that is how the snake ended up without arms and legs.
