My story tells how the pink flamingo came to be. It all began when Aries, the god of war, met a mortal named Hellina. The goddess Hestia fell in love with a mortal Adan. Well Adan and Hellinia never met until the god Aries invited Hellinia to Mount Olympus to tell her he loves her. Well Hestia invited Adan to Mount Olympus to meet so she could tell him that she loves him. The two gods did not realize that the two mortals would fall in love. Well the two mortals were banned from seeing each other, but they still met secretly. This made the two gods very mad. Aries and Hestia decided they should be punished. So they got all of the gods together to create an animal that was so ugly people would despise it forever. Well since Aphrodite helped, they made the animal beautiful. It was tall, pink, and if two animals put their heads together it would form a heart. To this day the Greeks say that Adan and Hellenia are still alive as what we call the pink flamingos and this animal was also created on Valentine's day.
