Hades and the Flu

by Kyle

One day Hermes was flying over the land sending a message to Apollo, when he saw this man that was white as snow with a cloak as dark as night and eyes as dead as the ghosts of the underworld. This man was very evil looking. At first he thought it was Hades, but the man was younger looking than Hades. This man was causing harm to people. So Hermes went to Hades.

When Hermes arrived at the underworld, he immediately saw Hades. Now Hermes was confused. He saw Hades down in the underworld and was wondering who was up on the surface. He told Hades about the man, and Hades stopped what he was doing and went with Hermes.

When Hermes and Hades got to the place, they were disguised as hunters. Hades saw the man and knew that he was his son. Hermes was surprised that Hades had a son. Hades said his son's name was Fluithiel.

Hermes went to Zeus and told him about what was happening. Zeus was very mad. When he spotted Fluithiel, he threw a lightening bolt at him. When Hades saw the lightening bolt he immediately made Fluithiel disappear, or so he thought. Really with out knowing, what Hades did was turn him into an invisible disease called the Flu, so he can cause harm to others for all eternity.
