Mount Grassees

One day long ago Zeus was looking over the world when he saw a giant named Grassees. The giant was taller than Mount Olympus. This outraged Zeus so much he told the giant he had to shrink. If he did not (which Zeus knew he couldn't) he would be killed and lose the thing he treasured most, his long, beautiful green hair (which Zeus liked very much).

Of course Grassees couldn't shrink, so Zeus killed him without a slight delay. Then, he cut Grassees bald and spread Grassees' hair all over the Earth for everyone to look at. Then being very pleased with himself, he laid the giant down in a curved-like position. This made the dead giant smaller than Mount Olympus.

Over a great deal of time a rock formed around the giant. Finally, Grassees was a mountain range, which you may see today near California.
