Two Nymphs and The Throne

Every month the Greeks have a great feast to honor Zeus. Everyone, even children, must bring a gift. Many nymphs vowed to bring a gift every month, including Golderiana. She has a daughter, named Goldiathrone, who also vowed to bring a gift. Goldiathrone and her mother weren't able to bring their gifts, because a couple of trouble-making birds had stolen their gifts. The two nymphs were minding their own business, when two small birds came down from a high branch , opened their beaks, and grabbed the gifts. The nymphs tried to catch the birds, but they were too fast.

Zeus was angry with the two nymphs and decided to punish them. All of the other gods and goddesses did not like the idea of punishing the nymphs, but if they disagreed, then they would also be punished. Zeus turned Goldiathrone into a beautiful golden throne. Then Zeus sent Golderiana down to the underworld to be a slave of Hades. Hades didn't enjoy Golderiana's attitude, so he poisoned Golderiana and sent her spirit up to Zeus, and there, the spirit soaked into the throne. Golderiana's spirit met with Goldiathrone's spirit and both spirits vowed to try and keep Zeus off the throne.

Every time Zeus tried to sit in the throne, the spirits would rock and tip the throne to make Zeus fall to earth. When Zeus fell and landed on earth, the ground beneath him, and around him, would shake violently. Zeus never gave up on trying to sit in the golden throne, but he fell every time he attempted to sit in the mystical and golden throne.
