Leon the Lion

In the hottest chariot race in the world, Leon was still in first place as usual. Leon was an immortal with hair of gold that shined like the sun. Leon wanted to drive Apollo's chariot of fire. After his victory, Leon announced he wanted to challenge Apollo in the next race he was to have. Ounce Apollo heard, he and other gods laughed for hours.

Apollo went to choose his horses. Leon didn't try to make sure his chariot was in good shape. Apollo didn't want to use his regular wild horses that breathe fire. Apollo had chosen to use Leon's first chariot. Apollo used his godly powers to fix the chariot so it wouldn't break. Before the race, Leon told Apollo what he wanted if he'd won the race. Apollo said he'd tell at the end.

The race started and Apollo began to think of what Leon would become and noticed there weren't any male lions with the female lions. Leon hadn't noticed, but one of his wheels was loose and falling off, but he stayed at full speed. It was the last stretch and the wheel finally broke off.

Leon was mad because he had the lead and was going to win. Leon got up and went to face Apollo. Apollo said he'd be the first male lion with a golden mane. He then was put in charge of all the animals in the jungle.
