Changes of the Seasons

Zeus is a very hard working man. He really doesn't get very much sleep. He came up with a plan that he would work for six months and rest for six months.

During the time that he is working, it is called Summer and Spring. Summer and Spring are the two seasons that Zeus is awake and the world is full of living plants and playing children. But during the time that he is in rest, the world is cold and bitter. This is called Winter and Fall. This is how we got our seasons.
