How the Moon Came to Be

Once upon a time a kid named Jesse Moon wanted to study the stars, so he went to school. In school he studied mostly about stars and a little bit of mathematics and Foreign languages. For seven years he stayed in school. After he got out of school he went out and bought himself a little hut outside of town. For fifteen years he worked on a thing called a "telescope", this telescope was made from solid oak wood and weighed more than one hundred and fifty pounds. The telescope was made so Jesse in his spare time could study the stars closer. For most of Jesse's life he was a farmer until one day at night Jesse was looking up at the stars through his telescope and noticed some explosions on the sun. Jesse stood there for about three to four minutes stunned and confused just looking up there. Jesse started running to Zeus' temple, and as he was running he realized that something must be wrong with Apollo. When he got there Jesse told Zeus everything that he had seen. When Jesse got done explaining to Zeus, Zeus called Hermes down to fly Jesse up to the sun. While they were traveling up there Zeus gave him the power to withstand the heat from the sun. When they got up to the sun Zeus, Hermes, and Jesse saw that Apollo was fighting the Fire Dragon. The Fire Dragon is a beast that can withstand heat or any type of flames and he lived in the hot dense core of the earth. Zeus started to help Apollo and they still couldn't figure out how to beat the dragon. Well by this time Jesse was trying to think of a way to help Zeus and Apollo. Jesse thought back to school and remembered something that he learned in school that fire can not withstand wet or cool things. So Hermes flew Jesse down to Earth to get some water from the lake. As soon as they got back they saw Zeus and Apollo were fighting as hard as they ever fought before. Jesse ran quickly over to the Monster and doused him with the water. Later Apollo gave Jesse a little gift it was a piece from the sun and it started to cool down. Apollo said, " Let this be your reward for killing the dragon and you shall name it anything you wish."
Jesse said, "I want to name it Moon."
