Zeus and Athena were having a party for the other gods. Zeus said all people need to worship the gods, but Hades was planning to wreck the party. He likes the gods when they are miserable.

Hades was preaching to not worship the Gods. Some people listened to Hades. Some people didn't listen, because they believe in Zeus. They knew that Zeus will punish those people that didn't worship.

That day Zeus invited all the gods to come to his palace. Zeus was making his grand speech. When he had finished his speech, he said that all of the people are worshiping you! Then all the gods said that not all the people are worshiping us.

After the party, Zeus came down to punish the humans who didn't worship the Gods. He sent all the people who didn't worship the Gods to the underworld for the rest of their lives with Hades and their souls could never get to heaven. All day everyone was crying. So now you when it rains, it is the people's souls crying.
