There was a small four roomed house on the outskirts of the city-state of Athens. The family that lived in that house had seven children, four boys and three girls. (Melona was the mother, Dionis was the eldest son. Dionis and two of his brothers went to get jobs. The younger two Chiea and Stylus, went and got jobs fighting in the army. Dionis got a job working for the army.) One week later Dionis's brothers went to war with the Spartans. Both of his brothers were killed. Dionis's father had been killed by a Spartan criminal. So now he and his little brother were the only men of the house. Dionis had to make some major money. So he made a deal with the prison guard. The deal was that the guard would give Dionis twelve criminals if he would make them do good for the city. Dionis accepted. He was puzzled on what he should have them do. He tried to get them to build more houses, but they just destroyed what was already built. He tried to get them to help with crops, but they just ruined them. So Dionis was going to take them to kill the gorgon known as Medusa. They were on a boat to Medusa's island when Dionis was met by Hermes, the messenger god. "For this mission you will need a pair of my winged sandals and this shield from Ares. You can see through it but you won't turn to stone. Here is what you do... you will send out the twelve criminals then you will wait for them to turn to stone one by one. Grab them after they turn to stone and load them on the ship. Use the sandals to get around and the shield to see. Once all the criminals are stone, take them back to Athens and set them up in town square. You will be paid lots of money for every statue. All that I ask is that you dedicate these statues to me, the messenger god. Dionis did this and was paid handsomely. He and his family lived happily for the rest of there lives and never had to worry about financial problems ever again.
