I may not have information that's entirely true, straight from the grown up's mouths, about banning books; but my word is just as good.
Some people banned books and other people don't know why. Well I am going to give you a couple of examples of good stories, and when you see the light, you will under- stand.
Little Red Riding Hood, had a big bad wolf in the story that Grandmother and Little Red get eaten. That may be one reason why they banned it from children's libraries. Little Red my have disobeyed her mother, but I don't think that's any reason to ban it. Now here, we have the book called the Adventures of Huckleberry Finn and The Adventeures of Tom Sawyer. They are a couple of children running around, playing tricks, and taking things. That may be a reason they were banned. The only reason I know of, is they weren't good reading for the kids.
Most books were banned because of sex, violence, and bad language. Be careful what you let your kids read. In my opinion, there is nothing wrong enough to me, to ban most books. Some books with sex and violence should be banned
like; Daddy's Roommate, not chilldren's books. Be careful what you ban, because, you may never see it again.
