Background Information
This iAdventure is intended as an extension of units presented on cells and the classification of organisms. The students should have knowledge of the basic make up of cells, how we identify the parts of cells, and the general knowledge of the use of laboratory equipment that would be required for identifying bacteria and viruses.
Curriculum Standards
This iAdventure was designed to address the following Missouri Show-Me Performance Standards.
1.2 (Goal 1, Standard 2) Conduct research to answer questions and evaluate information and ideas
1.4 Use technological tools and other resources to locate, select and organize information

This iAventure is designed to be used either as an individual student assignment or can be used as an assignment for a small group.
- computers with internet access
- paper and pencil
- video camera
Thoughout this iAdventure the students will have several task in which they will collect information from the websites which they will visit. An online tutorial is also a part of the iAdventure. These will be scored on an individual basis. Assessment

- Information on what methods are used to identify the pathogen.
- Information on how to fight, protect, and prevent the infection by your choosen microbe.
Scoring Guide for Most Wanted Project Criteria Score Overall Appearance of presentation. 5 3 1 Evidence of research is present. 5 3 1 Presentation is creative. 5 3 1 All components listed above are present. 5 3 1 Information is accurate and correct. 5 3 1 Total Comments:
