This iAdventure is designed for Severe and Profound Special education students.  The grade level is anywhere in the Transition phase (7th grade- 21 years).  It is necassary for the parent or staff person to help the student with this project due to low reading and technology levels of most students.

It is important to print the final worksheet and evaluate the student based on their ablilities.  The main area for this iAdventure is decision making and recreation leisure activities.

Background Information

An iAdventure is a way of teaching students important concepts and skills by involving them in a storyline about one or more characters (fictional or real). The character, Jake will help students with the help of staff or parents  make their way through the program. Students will choose Money to spend or no money to spend to investigate what there is to do in their recreation-leisure time. The students will visit web sites and be graded on thier performance. The students will use problem solving skills to make their choices.
