Shop Til You Drop 
You asked for money for your birthday this year and you got
$400.00! You had no idea that you would get so much money and since
it belongs to you, YOU get to choose how you would like to spend your money!
You want to make the most of your money so you have to do a little bit
of research and decide what you want to buy, where you want to shop and
how you can buy the most things for your money!
Chellie is trying to decide whether or not to redecorate
her room or buy new clothes. Justin either wants to buy new video
game equipment or new clothes.
Would you like to be Chellie or Justin? Think about
what you might want to shop for to make your decision! Some of the
stores that Chellie and Justin may shop at are listed below. Visit
these sites to see what iterests you. Write down at least three pros
and cons for being Chellie or Justin so your teacher will know why you
made your choice on a character. Also write down some reasons why
you would or would not like to shop for some of these itmes. Make and educated
decision on what you would like to shop for.
Make a list of what items you would like to buy after
you have decided what to shop for.
Upon deciding what you would like to shop for, keep a
list on your budget sheet of the item, the store where it is available
and the price at that store. Use this list to find the best buys.
Be sure to keep track because you will need to record your final "purchases"
on your final budget list
