Background Information
An iAdventure is a way of teaching students important concepts and skills by involving them in a storyline about one or more characters (fictional or real). This iAdventure is narrated by Ronnie who is a mouse that takes on the role of tour guide and guides the students through the iAdventure. First the students are faced with choosing a computer related career and must do the appropriate research in order to make an informed choice. Then, the students must choose a company for employment. The students once again will do research so they can make an educated choice. Next, the students must do research on career planning (resumes, cover letters, interviewing, and proper dress). And finally, the students are required to create an integrated multimedia presentation/interview using the Microsoft Office XP that each student will present to the class role-playing an interview with their chosen corporation. The students will have a total of 4 activities to complete as they conduct their research and the conclusion activity as their final project in the iAdventure.
