New World
The year is 1716, and you have been living in the New World your entire life, all 11 years.  Your parents love the New World of  North America, and donít even miss London.  They wanted out of the crowded city in England, so when they heard of people crossing the ocean to live in this new place, they jumped at the chance.

Last year your aunt and uncle, Elizabeth and Benjamin Winchester, opened a museum in London.  Since you are living in the New World, they would like your help in getting some information.  You will be going to visit some other places in the New World, so you will need to do some research before choosing where to visit.

What climate will you choose?

You will be choosing the type of climate you want to visit while doing your research.  First you will need to know what the word ěclimateî means.  Visit the following website to find out. When you are finished with a website, just click on the x in the top right hand corner. You will go back to where you were before entering the website.

You will be visiting from June until February. Now that you know what the climate is like, decide what type of climate you would like to visit for your research.  Would you prefer a temperate climate (one that is cold in the winter and hot in the summer) or an extreme climate (year round hot or year round cold)?
