Your final project is to write a letter to your congressman to express your concerns about the pollutants that are present in our world. You will describe the effects of these pollutants on frog populations and inevitablely, on humans. You will suggest different ways in which the government can stop the further polluting of our planet by passing laws to eliminate the uses of certain chemicals and stricter laws enforcing proper disposal of waste products. You MUST support your letter with valid and current research. You will turn your completed letter and research materials in along with the rubric below. You and your partner will also develop a petition that describes what your endeavors are. You will get as many signatures as possible to support your letter. This petition will be copied and sent along with the letter to your congressman. Print out the Rubric HERE.
