In a totally cool town lives a totally cool kid, Leila. Leila is the coolest of cool. She wears the right clothes, walks the right walk, talks the right talk and knows all the right people. Leila has been thinking about her future. She, of course, should live in the coolest of houses and drive the coolest of cars. But how is she going to make this happen?

You are going to help Leila find the right house, car, and career then make a budget that will allow her to achieve her goals.

You will be using the web to find houses and cars that are currently on the market. You will choose a career and set a budget all on the web!

You will be required to turn in the following items for a grade at the end of this project. You need to prepare these along your adventure!

Information of Leila's car which should include description, total cost, monthly payment and insurance.

Career profile which should include description, salary potential, and education requirements.

Personal budget worksheet for Leila's dream lifestyle.

Dilemma: Does your career profile meet Leila's lifestyle? What changes would need to be made? Give a justification to your adjustment and research any changes made.

Development of a personal financial portfolio for Leila. The portfolio will include the above information in on original, organized format with a balanced budget.

 

Where to live?

Leila loves houses. She feels she deserves the best of the best and refuses to live in a dump! She needs to decided where to live. Will she live in the city or in the country? Research homes in both locations and help her set the course of her new lifestyle. Remember that she will need to find a career that will allow her to make the income to pay for this house.
