Wonderful decision! Welcome to the home of the St. Louis Cardinals. You can visit the St. Louis Zoo, scream on the rides at Six Flags, or tour the historical landmark called the Gateway to the West. There is so much to do and see while in St. Louis that you can't possibly do it all in three days. However, while you're there you plan to take in as much as you can while keeping within your budget of $800 for a family of four (2 adults and 2 children under the age of 15).

So Long School Bus Rides

The first thing you need to do is decide how you plan to get to St. Louis. You see, your grandparents recently purchased a used recreational vehicle that they would be thrilled for the family to use. It gets 10 miles to the gallon. On the other hand, you can take the sports utility vehicle your family owns which gets 18 miles to the gallon.

A few important items to think about might be how many miles it is to St. Louis, how long it will take to get there, and how much will fuel cost along the way. To help you make an informed decision, check out these web resources. Be sure to write the info down as you go as it will be useful later.
