Creating a Menu Now it is time to get down to work. Your job is almost complete. You have visited several web sites that provided you with information regarding a daily balanced diet, daily caloric requirements, caloric activity consumption rates, mineral caloric equalivencies, and specific food caloric equalivencies. Now it is time to put all of the information together and create a menu based upon the caloric requirements and tastes of either Hans or Melissa. "Click" on the button below to print the following chart. Each chart will represent one day of the menu. The teacher will assist in your group in making additional copies for a two week menu.
Calories per Serving of Specific Foods Caloric Value of Fats/Proteins/Carbohydrates
Assessment You and your group will be graded in several various ways. Your behavior during this project will constantly be under consideration. Areas that will be included in the final assessment regarding your behavior will be: how well you contribute/participate with your teammates, communicate with others in your group, cohesively complete the printable HTML pages on time and share the responsibility of working on the computer equally.
You will also be assessed regarding the amount of variety you have in your menu as well as staying within the specific cuisine request of the athlete. Maintaining the caloric requirements within a reasonable amount of calories is still another criteria that your group will be graded. Calculating the total amount of each menu items, meal, daily food intake and weekly food intake is your group's responsibility. Be sure to add carefully.
