Flat Stanley's Continental Adventure is a fun way to learn about two of the seven continents. It provides students with an insight into Africa and Australia. It also gives them an opportunity to research via the internet. These sites will be safe for the kids to view as they have been previewed.
They are asked to take a trip with flat Stanley. They have to choose where they want to go and they have to research the contintents to decide which will be best for them to visit. They will learn about the people, landscape, and wildlife of the continents and will be able to build a brochure about the continent they chose. They will learn about endangered wildlife and customs of the cultures of these continents. They will be able to make a decision based upon likes and dislikes they have.
