Immediately, you are taken to a large room, where you are instructed to strip down and leave all your possessions. No one notices because there are so many people, but you manage to hide your journal behind you. You are small and feel unnoticed, which does not bother you. Now you and your family are sprayed down with a white spray, that is supposed to kill any lice on your body.
Now you are ordered to line up, girls on one side and boys on another. Then a man wearing a white overcoat and carrying a file, who you assume must be a doctor, walks down the girls line first. He orders your grandmother and your two younger sisters to go with the officers. Your grandmother asks where they are taking her, and she gets slapped to the ground. "Don't ask questions old woman," said the officer. Everyone is screaming and crying. Now the doctor is coming to the boys side. Your are terrified.

"A twin?" asked the doctor. "Yes," you reply.
