The Science Department has been hard at work developing a time machine that will take students back in time to investigate history.  The  Science Department has asked the History Department for some assistance in this project.

You are one of the chosen history buffs to travel back in time.  You will need extensive knowledge of the internet to gather information and make important decisions along the way.  After your 30 day trip back in time you will write a story detailing your adventure.  This is an opportunity of a lifetime, have fun and bring back lots of good information to share.

The history buffs chosen will be somewhat limited because the time machine only has two settings to choose from.  Each setting will take you on a spectacular adventure that no one else in your class has ever had, or will have, the opportunity to participate in.  The class will be counting on you to make good decisions and to keep good journal entries of your travels.  You will have the opportunity to visit America in the early 1800's or Europe during the Middle Ages, or Medieval period.
 
 
 

EUROPE OR AMERICA

The travelers will have a choice between the two destinations of Europe or America.  You will have to resource the internet to decide which would be the site with important historical events that you will report back to the class.  Each country is very different, you will have a big decision to make.  Remember, you will be arriving as the a member of the lowest class in their society which is a slave, serf, or peasant.

First, you will need to click on each information web site listed below for America and Europe.  Take good notes so you can make a decision as to which site you will visit. Whenever you see the pencil symbol you should stop and complete the worksheet for that section.   Climb in, buckle up, pick a site, and hold on.  You will be there before you realize it.
