Information Page
This iadventure was designed for third graders. The students
will recognize other planets in the universe. They will also
learn facts about the planets in our solar system, the moons
in our solar system, and about unknown planets (exoplanets).
Background
Information
An iadventure is set up to teach a lesson using the Internet.
In this planet iadventure the students will travel to the
different planets trying to find Merp’s home. When they
realize Merp does not live on any of our nine known planets
they will search to see if he lives on one of the moons in
our solar system or on some other unknown planet. After returning
Merp to the unknown planet the students will write a story
explaining their journey through the solar system with Merp.
They will then describe the unknown planet.
