Teacher page

This iadventure is designed to teach kindergartners through 5th graders about growing plants, and how they grow.
The content of this iadventure is too advanced for kindergartners to understand, I suggest that you take at least two weeks to do this and do a page at a time, allowing the  students to fill out the questionnaire provided and make their own choices as to which they would choose.

With Pooh and his friends your students will help Rabbit to make his garden grow, they will learn about vegetables and flowers well enough  to do a project about it.

Resources needed

It may be a good idea to read a couple of the Whinnie the Pooh books so that you can make sure that your students are familiar with the characters.
    you are going to need:
            1) This project will work best if you have a little land on which the children can actually grow their plants, but if you can't get one you will need planting pots (if you use pots I would suggest putting your class in groups) each plant suggests a different sized plant refer to the sights
            2) Gardening supplies, hoes, rakes, water hose, shovels, and fertilizer, and if you are using pots you will need potting soil
            3) Pansy, marigold, cucumber, and squash seeds
            4) If your students are to complete the project they will each need a copy of this question sheet
