Have you ever walked across a bridge and admired it's beautiful lines or wondered at the fascinating engineering that went into it's construction?  Have you seen a bridge in the distance and been excited about crossing it?  Do you ever get frightened or worried when crossing a bridge?  Are the bridges that we use every day safe?  Did you know there are different styles of bridge?

Over the next few weeks, we will be delving into many topics about bridges including thier safety, construction, beauty and maintenance.  You will be immersed  into bridge society and taking on imaginary roles in order to learn more about bridges, construction, math, science, physics, public speaking and persuasion.  You will be given a series of dilemas and links to web resources to help you come up with your own unique solutions.
