What is an iAdeventure? |
An iAdventure
is a problem solving activity in which students determine the direction and
outcome of a content-rich storyline, using resources available on the
Internet, particularly resources providing real-world data and primary
documents. The activity is designed to help students discover how the
characters could use access to unlimited data and information (the Internet)
to solve problems and make choices. |

students to gain knowledge about communities.
They will look at the different types of communities and
characteristics each community has. |
|
Grade Level? |

2nd graders. |
|
Time? |

from 3-10 days. |
|
Resources |
This could be done as an
individual project, a group project, or as a whole group activity. Depending on the kind of project you make
it you will need computers for every person or for every group. If you do it as a whole group a Smart Board
would be helpful. In addition, you may
want to have a hard copy of the project rubric and any art supplies that they
may need to accomplish the project. |
