This iAdventure for 4^th grade students offers understanding of recycling.  Students will understand how recycling can help us. Students will be able to comprehend the many ways to recycle.  They will gain knowledge about recycling paper, aluminum, plastic, food (compost) and glass.  In addition, they understand how they can reuse items of waste, and reduce what they use.   They will gather information and find out how they can help.  With this learning iAdventure students gain the desire to find things out about recycling.  Learning is encouraged by story characters known as Tammy and Walter. They instruct students in locating information contained in the web sites.  Upon completion of the task, students will make power point displaying information on recycling consisting of gathered information, images (from Web Sources, or Clip Art), and oral presentations. Students will have a Note Taking Sheet printed for answering questions.  A Power Point web page will be provided in instructed how to make a Power Point.  Students will also be provided with a Power Point Rubric to ensure understanding of the assignment.
