    Grade Level: 5th

    Curriculum Topic: Social Studies/Economics/Information Literacy

Timeline: 3 or 4 one hour sessions

An iAdventure is a way of teaching students concepts and skills. This activity gets students involved in a story and they must make decisions based on information they gather. This iAdventure is a fun way for students to learn about economics. The Outdoor Classroom iAdventure will provide students with an opportunity to research and learn about footprint catchers and compost. The      students are the main characters because they are asked to decide on a project to add to the Outdoor Classroom. This iAdventure covers several curriculum areas such as social studies, information literacy, and vocabulary. It also provides good decision making and problem solving practice. The final project students create is a Powerpoint presentation.
