It’s your first day on the job.  Your editor has helped you rent a small house just across the street from the Curtis family.  It’s early in the afternoon on Saturday, and a yelling match has just broken out, “Pony…you never think!  You have to think about where you are and who’s around you!”  There’s a muffled reply and pretty soon the screen door bangs closed.  You try to catch a glimpse through the back window of your 1962 Mercury Comet as you're unpacking, only to see two teens take off down the street.  Could this family know anyone related to the killing of Bob Sheldon?  They seem troubled.  You decide to finish unpacking and let the family settle down before introducing yourself.  You think to yourself, “What’s all the yellin’ about?”

After unpacking, you outline your plan:  1.  introduce self to Curtis family, 2.  get invited to the drive in, and 3.  buddy up with one of the guys.

A few hours later, as luck would have it, a couple of guys are tossing around a football over at the Curtis house.  It’s now or never.  You walk over to the gate, lean over, and say, “Hey, I’m Sam; whatcha guys do for fun around these parts?"
Be wise with whom you choose.  You must be able to fit in with this person, become like his sibling.  Greasers are a tight nit family.  Research each person first by clicking on the different links below.  Take notes on Guide 3.  Then, click the person's logo to move on the next step in the iAdventure.
Ponyboy Curtis is so quiet and has a book crammed in his back pocket.  Should I follow his story?  Find out a little more about him: Dallas (Dally) Winston is very rough and aggressive.  He seems to talk it up.  Should I follow his story?  Find out a little more about him: Steve Randall really is bothered by Ponyboy; why?  Should I follow his story?  Find out a little more about him:
