The iAdventure you are about to embark was created to help students gain information from research on peer pressure. No matter how old you are there is always going to be some form of peer pressure, it might be good or bad. The goal of this project is to understand the different types of peer pressure and the different consequences that might happen if you follow your peers.

You will be helping out two good friends make important decisions when they get invited to a party for upper classmen in their school. There are several different options the two friends can take. Within the decision making process, you will have to research information on the web and answer questions throughout the iAdventure.

Penelope Penwriter and Max Miller are the best of friends. They grew up in the same neighorhood since they were four years old. Penelope and Max have gone on trip with each others family and spent weeks at adventure camps together. There is not a day during the summer Penelope and Max are apart. Other kids their age do not understand why the two never fight and are always together.  Penelope and Max are very popular among their classmates and teachers enjoy their presence in their classroom.

It is the summer before Penelope and Max begin the very first year of high school and they both are 14 years old. Wow, they are finally going to be able to have more freedom and have more excitement because they are going to be freshman in the fall. They even got invited to one of the biggest parties of the year.... the end of the summer bash. It was at Zoey Zimmer's house. There are only a select few incoming freshmen  who get invited to this bash. Since Penelope and Max were invited to the party, other classmates knew they needed to be friends with Penelope and Max. You were considered very popular if you were a freshman and invited to upper classmen's parties, especially the end of the summer bash.  Penelope and Max will be faced with some desicions. They need your help making them.
 
 

When Penelope and Max get to the party, they run into Mayzie, another neighborhood friend who is seventeen. Mayzie introduces Penelope and Max to her friends. They all begin talking when Mayzie and her friends pull out cigarettes and start smoking. Mazyie and her friends begin to pressure Penelope and Max to smoke too. What should Penelope and Max do?
