Teacher Information Page

Hello my name is Nicole Dockery and I am I High School Language Arts teacher in the Kansas City Missouri School District.  I have developed this iAdventure for any content area  with the hopes of helping children realize how their decisions have effects on other people.  It is targeted to High School students but could be for middle school age children as well.  The iAdventure will take about 1 hour to navigate through and collect all the crucial information needed to develop a conclusion.  .

Background Information

An iAdventure is a way of teaching students important concepts and skills by involving them in a storyline about one or more characters (fictional or real). My iAdventure is focused on students making real-life choices that effect others besides themselves.  They will navigate through this iAdventure and realize that ultimately choices you make about your life as an adult lie in your hands but only you can make decisions that can hender or help relationships you have with other people. The main character Monique is going through this as she makes decisions about what college to attend as graduation is quickly approaching.
