Hi! I'm Betty the Biologist.  I work in a busy science lab.  Everyone in the lab is bubbling with excitement because we have discovered a way to create new animals that no one has ever seen before.  Can you imagine?  Scientists have been trying to do that for years and now we can!
I am very excited because today I am going to create my first new animal.
    I have a dilemma though!  I need an assistant because this is not an experiment one can do alone.  I would love it if you could help me!  I have heard from the other scientists here at the lab that you are very smart when it comes to animal habitats.  They tell me you know which animals live in the various habitats on our Earth.  If that's true, you are just the person I need to be my assistant in the lab.  So grab a lab coat and let's get started.
