Schedule of Teacher Professional Development Sessions

An educational program of this magnitude can be successful only if adequate trainihng and assistance is provided for teachers. For both the 7th and 8th grades, the program begins with 2 years of intensive teacher workshops, along with ongoing onsite support. Our 7th grade teachers are involved in a customized form of eMINTS professional development, provided by Stan Smith, the district's Instructional Technology Coordinator, and Stacey Franks of SuccessLink (Stacey is now employed by the Columbia, MO school district). Our 8th grade teachers are involved in a 2-year professional development program designed and coordinated by Stan Smith. Click the grade level and year below for details about the professional development programs.
