The way the world is today... and who we are... is the result of countless events that have taken place throughout the history of the Earth and the history of human endeavors.

The boundaries between the disciplines of math, science, social sciences, and communication arts disappear as we explore the events that have shaped the world, living things, and human societies.

Join the 7th grade students of Warrensburg Middle School as they show the world that... It's About Time!

The boundaries between disciplines disappear...

This web site is an exploration of important events that have changed history, from the origin of the Earth some 4.6 billion years ago, to human events of recent years. The site consists of a series of time-lines, beginning with the 4.6 billion year Earth history time-line below. You may click on a portion of the time-line to open a page with an expanded view of that portion. Each expanded view may have additional portions to expand (remember it is billions of years long!). Throughout the expanded views you will find links to detailed information about specific events that have affected the Earth, living things, and human societies. Each of these detailed pages represents the work of a group of 7th grade students, with text, photographs and drawings. Although content has been student-edited and teacher-checked, there are bound to be some errors. We welcome comments, suggestions, corrections, etc. Please email your input to Stan Smith.
