Engines

Steam & Combution Engines by J.F-H.

They give us power. They power trains and

automobiles (transportation) which we use every

day of ower lives. If we didn't have transport-

ation, every thing would be stopped from moving around.

People need transportation because - how would we get

any were? Steam engines trains were another kind

of transportation. The train is a way to get people

where they want faster than usual. Usually they would take a

taxi or a car. All this stuff is powered by engines. The first steam

locomotive to be tried on rails hauled 5 wagons with 10 tons of iron.

Twenty men went 9.5 miles at 5 miles per hour. Richard Trevithick

built it.

We learn from the past, like if somthing went wrong

& coudn't work. We learn from the mistakes they made

in the past so it doesn't happen to us. Vehicle exhaust emissions

are responsible for harmful pollutants. Petrol engines release

sulphur-doxide nitrous oxide, carbon monoxide, and hydrocarbons

that are harmful to humans and plants.
