Due to snow days, the last day of school for students will be
Tuesday, May 27, 2008. That is assuming there will be no other
snow days taken this year!
WHS Choirs
Earn Top Ratings
On
Friday, March 28th the State Large Ensemble Contest at UCM awarded
the WHS Concert Choir, Chamber Choir, Women's Choir, and Men's
Choir an overall "1" (Superior) rating. All four choirs
performed two prepared songs, and all but the Chamber Choir
were also judged on sight-reading. The Concert Choir, Chamber
Choir and Men's Choir received "1" ratings from all
three judges on their prepared pieces.

WHS Student
Katie Clear Honored by State
Katie
Clear will be honored with the 2008 Missouri Award for Outstanding
Achievement in Citizenship. Only fifteen high school seniors
are chosen throughout the state for academic achievement, extracurricular
leadership, and community service. Katie will be honored at
a luncheon at the Governor's mansion and has chosen her teacher,
Mrs. Jennifer Fowler, along with her parents to accompany her.
