In the classroom, the sand boa eats mice (pinkies). There are only a few sand boas that will only eat live prey. In the wild, the sand boa eats a lot of things. They can be egg-eaters. In the classroom the sand boa is usually fed once a week. The things that can eat it are birds of prey.
The sand boa can live into its teens. They live alone. The female sand boa will reach about 22-30 inches long. The male sand boa will reach about 15 inches on average. The average weight is about 250-350 grams in average.
